Choosing Your Wedding Cake from Clare

Choosing a cake can be very daunting for some!
I'm here to give professional help and advice to make your special day less stressful. To start with you need to know how many guests are attending the wedding, this will determine the size of cake required. The shape is entirely personal preference, whether you go for square, round, hexagonal, oval or petal!

Don't forget most common Food Allergies can be accommodated

A 10" cake will generously cater for 50 guests. If you would like a larger display for a smaller function, there is always the opion of having a false tier!!

The choice of cake is also endless whether it be traditional fruit, a moist madeira, a lush belgian choc, lemon or the exotic carrot. The colour of icing in my experience would normally depend on the colour of the brides dress. For example you wouldn't have white icing if the brides dress was in Ivory, it would make her dress look dirty!!!!

As for the cake decoration, it can be as plain or exciting as you wish. Some prefer the clean crisp look with less detail, but with more of a dramatic flower bouquet on top. These are all personally hand made to either match the bridesmaids colour, or the brides flowers in her bouquet!

There is an endless choice of coloured ribbons, crystal beading, stenciling or piping to decorate your cake. Each one is individually designed to meet your special requirements!

The displays obtained can range from being very subtle, to being very extravagant again depending on venue. My aim is to satisfy each and every customer with exactly what they want!
